└───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
This documentation outlines how we at Mikerosoft have installed
TurboEDIT. As far as we know, this is the best (and easiest) way to
setup TurboEDIT for use with RemoteAccess.
Install the TurboEDIT files in a directory of your choice. We used
C:\RA\TEDIT, so this is the directory we'll be using for our examples.
If you change it, adjust your setup accordingly.
Next, run TESETUP.EXE and config to your preferences.
In RemoteAccess Config under Options | Messages | External editor, type
*C /C C:\RA\TEDIT\TE.BAT *M
and save your setup.
The TE.BAT that is included in the archive assumes that your BBS path
is C:\RA. If this is not so, you must edit TE.BAT and change the path.
If you run a multitasker, and experience problems with TurboEDIT run-
ning slowly, you might want to add and play around with the -S param-
eter in the batch file. -S### (where the ### is 100ths of a second)
detemines when a time slice is released. The default setting is one
second (100/100ths).
